Top Nav Atmosphere Refresh

What changed

The global top navigation now has a more atmospheric surface treatment: a restrained translucent dark background, a faint gold-to-verdigris accent line, and slightly richer active and hover states for the main navigation groups and links.

Why

The header was structurally solid but visually flatter than the rest of the site. A subtle treatment helps it feel more intentional and better aligned with the refreshed persistent player without making the navigation flashy or distracting.

User impact

The top navigation remains familiar and readable, but it now carries a little more visual life and clearer active-state feedback.

Follow-up

If the header ever becomes sticky, revisit the opacity and blur values to make sure page content does not compete with the navigation labels underneath.
